Eros & Psyche

This marble sculpture is based on the works of the artist, William Adolphe Bouguereau. The sculpture exhibits love-struck Cupid holding Psyche in a loving embrace, abducting her to a world to marry her.

The sculpture symbolizes surrender (by Psyche), possession (by Cupid’s embrace), complete bliss, vulnerability and immortality (by Psyche’s butterfly wings).
