The Thinker by Auguste Rodin

Le Penseur (The Thinker), sculpture of a pensive nude male by the French artist Auguste Rodin, sits in the gardens of the Musée Rodin, Paris.

At Karara Mujassme, the 21st century reproduction carved in Pitted Travertine Marble depicts this sculpture as Rodin himself described: “What makes my Thinker think is that he thinks not only with his brain, with his knitted brow, his distended nostrils and compressed lips, but with every muscle of his arms, back, and legs, with his clenched fist and gripping toes.”
