The Statue of La Marne

The Statue of La Marne, named after the river Marne, the eastern tributary of Le Seine, the second largest river in France is one of the five allegorical statues of rivers placed in Versailles.

At Karara Mujassme, we have intricately sculpted La Marne holding fish with a tail of fruits symbolizing the source of food and a row, with cupid by her side.
