Look Homeward, Angel Sculpture

Inspired by Thomas Wolfe’s novel Look Homeward, Angel, the sculpture represents hope and an intangible world we only know about. Standing in Oakdale Cemetery, Herdersonville, Ashville the sculpture has one hand lifted in benediction, blessing all souls.

The delicately carved sculpture imbibes faith in one’s self and depicts the soft expression of love her face.
