Description and care

The Le Quy Don is a three- masted barque and the first sail training ship of the Vietnam People's Navy. Named after the esteemed 18th-century Vietnamese philosopher, poet, and encyclopedist Lê Quý Đôn, the vessel was designed by the Polish firm Choreń Design & Consulting and constructed at Marine Projects Ltd. shipyard in Gdańsk, Poland. Launched in June 2015,and features three masts reaching up to 40 meters high. The ship's sails cover an area of approximately 1,400 square meters.
