Description and care

The RMS Carpathia was a British passenger steamship best known for rescuing survivors of the Titanic disaster in 1912. Operated by the Cunard Line, it was a modest-sized liner mainly serving transatlantic routes. After receiving the Titanic’s distress call, Carpathia steamed through icy waters to reach the site, saving over 700 lives. It became a symbol of bravery and swift action before being sunk by a German U-boat during World War I in 1918.
